Biography

Hi! I’m Rachel, and it’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m a master’s level psychotherapist passionate about helping individuals navigate the often messy, beautiful, and complex journey of being human. Since beginning my practice, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside clients facing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and the growing pains that come with major life transitions — such as career changes, family challenges, and more.

I graduated with my undergrad from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication in 2013, and received my masters degree from Michigan School of Psychology as a Clinical Psychotherapist in 2018. I bring a warm, empathetic, and grounded presence to therapy — a space where your story is heard without judgment and your voice truly matters. My approach is a creative blend of evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and client-centered and humanistic frameworks. What ties them all together is my belief in the power of compassion, validation, and authentic connection.

I work with adults in their 20’s and beyond who are navigating life changes of all kinds. And while we’ll dig deep when needed, I also appreciate the value of a light sense of humor — because sometimes, a little laughter is therapeutic.

Therapy with me is a collaborative experience. I’m here to support you with curiosity, care, and a kind heart as you reconnect with yourself and move toward a life that feels more grounded and meaningful.
